The EU Referendum

Hello Everyone,

I am posting early this for next week because I will be on holiday.First of all, congratualtions for those of you who have finished all of your exams and coursework. I hope you do well and emjoy your summer break.

A major event is happening next week; the EU referendum. Hence, with little more than a week before the UK goes to the polls to decide if we should remain in or opt out of the European Union, Swansea University is hosting a public lecture/ workshop on 17/06/2016 between 2.00pm and 6.00pm, in Lecture Theatre 049, Great Hall, Bay Campus.

This event will bring together experts from industry and academia to share their knowledge and experience on the European Union, and what the referendum means for Wales.

This event is free to attend, and open to everyone; from businesses and academic colleagues to everyone within the local community. It takes the format of a series of bite size presentations, looking historically at why the UK originally went into the EU, and moving right through to today, and the reasons and misgivings for remaining in the EU.

If you would like to attend, please register via this link: http://www.swansea.ac.uk/eu-referendum

This is a very important decision for the UK, so I will not disclose what I will be voting, I urge all of you who are eligible to vote to go to the polls and make your voice heard!

Thanks and I’ll next be posting in about 2 weeks time. Thanks for reading!
