Halloween

Hello everyone!

As the weather is starting to turn and there is a definite winter feel, it’s time to start making or think about making Halloween plans (especially as this year it is on a Saturday). Last year my housemate recorated the corridor as the rest of us slept and it did give us a scare when we all got up the next morning haha.

Anyway I thought I would see what events are on around Swansea to give you some ideas if you wanted to do something for Halloween this year.

Swansea city are putting on quite a few events for all ages including a ghost hunt, flash mobs, a human ghost train and pumpkin carving. Most of these activities do seem to be targeted at children but it might be worth venturing into the town centre to see what’s on.

For those of us who are a bit older there are some events for us as well. On Halloween there is what has been called a ‘Zombie Apocolypse”. The website says to meet in Castle Square with free zombie make-up before heading into the town. So if your’e looking to venture into the club scene in Swansea this may be for you.

What’s On

If you wanted to do something a bit different there is a Halloween Spook Night taking place in Plantasia in Parc Tawe. Again I think that this is aimed more at children but for those of you with children it might be worth considering. It is £5 entry per person but if you fancy it, it is advised that you book as it does tend to be quite popular. The link is listed below:

If any of these events take your fancy or you would like to see more about what is happening in Swansea over Halloween. I have included the link below to the Visit Swansea Bay website that gives more details and more options for everyone.
