Free Film Screening at Swanea Museum

Hello all,

This is a very short post this time because I am in the middle of fieldwork and everything is go, go go!

Now that February is upon us, and term has started up again after the exam period, some of you (myself included) may be looking for things to do as a bit of ‘down time’ from our studies.

I came across a post on the Swansea council webiste about free film screenings at Swansea Museum. These are free and happen about once a month until April (at least as far as I can see). The next one is happening on 7th Februrary at 1pm and is a screening of Dr Zhivago. This is an epic romance and war drama but it is rated 8 out of 10 stars on IMDb, and is considered by some to be a cinematic classic.

The next 2 films take place on 6th March at 1pm (Lawrence of Arabia) and 3rd April at 1.30pm (The Red Baron). So if you fancy watching some screenings of classic cinema then perhaps consider popping down to Swansea museum on the dates and times listed. It may be just what you need to unwind from your studies and it is free so is friendly to a student budget.

If you would like some more information then the link to the website and the telephone number of Swansea Museum is listed below: http://www.swanseamuseum.co.uk/ or telepone 01792 653763

Thanks for reading!!!
