El futuro, il futuro, the Future! (LingoMap vlog)
The future is something we all think about, whether it be what we’re gonna have for dinner tonight, will England beat Belgium this afternoon, or what will I do when I leave university. Three degrees of severity there, I’ll let you decide which is most important. But seeing as this is a university blog/vlog, I am obliged to talk about job prospects and, for me, that is of course languages.
Las lenguas pueden abrir muchas puertas para una persona que busque trabajo, y por supuesto lo más obvio es trabajar en el extranjero, en el país de su segunda/tercera lengua. Es muy importante recordar que no hay muchos hablantes nativos de inglés que vayan al extranjero así que, si decides seguir este camino, tienes una gran ventaja. Los campamentos internacionales para niños son lo más útil para un estudiante, por ejemplo.
Ma certo non c’è solo il lavoro da considerare per il futuro. Come uno studente che inizierà l’ultimo anno di università a settembre, farò gli studi più difficili della mia vita universitaria. Non solo sto facendo corsi difficili, sto anche scrivendo una tesi, quindi non credo di aver molto tempo libero, una cosa nuova nella mia vita universitaria. E un’altra cosa importante è che i miei amici, quasi tutti, hanno finito l’università, quindi devo regolarmi a questo, e non sono sicuro di poterlo fare.
These are some of the things one has to consider when starting their final year at university, and I am hoping that this vlog covers this as well as possible, explaining my opinion and take on it, whilst also offering advice as to what you can do and how you can go about overcoming these difficulties.
Finally, as you will have worked out from this prologue, voy a hablar en mis tres lenguas, inglese, spagnolo e italiano, so that it can demonstrate como mis lenguas han mejorado, y tambien può fingere come un testo di practicar tus lenguas allo stesso tempo. And if you thought that was difficult to read, it was bloody hard writing it as well so I hope you make the most of it!
